401k employee matching program question?
Q. can anyone explain to me what the following means in detail? This is in regards to a 401k employee matching program, "You will be eligible to receive the match once you completed 1,000 hours of service within the calender year." --- There is a six year graduated vesting schedule for the matching contribution.

The six year graduated vesting schedule means that after 2 years you are 20% vested, 3 years 40%, 4 years 60%, 5 years 80% and 6 years 100% vested in the matching contributions made by your employer. Vested means the percentage portion of… [cont.]
